Kula is a beautiful city in Maui that lies in the mountains of Haleakala. This town is more of a relaxing city that doesn't see a lot of tourism since it isn't at sea-level. Kula is a great place to visit if you want to go on an awesome hike, or sit down and get a good meal. Home to six veterinarians, your pup will be feeling good while visiting.

If you and Fido are looking for a place to eat, head over to Grandma's Coffee House. This local eatery offers a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view of the mountains that surround the town. Their outdoor patio welcomes your pup to join you for a delicious breakfast before you head out for the day.

Take your pup out to Keokea Park for a good walk. The 6.7-acre park offers a picnic area, softball field, restrooms, and water fountains. Fido will love exploring all the open grass space that the park has, and will love getting a good game of fetch in. The Sun Yat Sen Park is another pawsome park to stop in at and get a walk in. There is a nice walking trail that goes throughout the park that is perfect for the two of you to use.

Your pup will love seeing all the natural wildlife, some which can only be found in Hawaii, and exploring all the new areas that you will visit. The coolest thing about this park is its on a dormant volcano. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you, and don't forget to bring clean-up bags.

The Waiakoa Loop Trail goes throughout the reserve and is perfect for a good day of exercise for you and Fido. The 3.5-mile trail is a loop route with a 1,213-foot elevation gain. The hike will take you through the forest where you and Fido will see a lot of natural wildlife, so make sure to keep your pup on a leash. There are a few benches to sit on and relax during the middle of the hike, but make sure to bring plenty of water with you.

This 3.8-acre park offers great amenities for you and your pup to enjoy, including restrooms, water, and a picnic area. If you both want to enjoy a picnic together, the park does offer a few BBQs as well. The park is filled with a ton of open green space that Fido can run around on and get a good game of fetch in as well. Make sure to take advantage of the walking path that goes throughout the park for a pawtastic walk.

When you finish the hike, you will get a beautiful view of the ocean and a nice spot to rest along the way. While hiking, you will go through a forest that is filled with tall eucalyptus trees, providing plenty of shade for the two of you. Make sure to bring plenty of water and clean-up bags with you, and note that if it is raining, the trail can get pretty wet and muddy.
