Motel 6 also doesn't charge an additional fee for up to two dogs of any size. Staybridge Suites keeps a traveler close to the excitement of Westport Plaza. It allows up to two dogs of less than 80 pounds for a minimum fee of $75 per room. Holiday Inn Express St. Louis Airport Riverport will keep you and your dog (or two!)  safe and warm at night in one of its dog-friendly rooms for a fee of $25 per dog per night (weight restricted for your pup at 45 pounds).

Dogport Dog Park barks out to a dog that needs a place to play. Four acres of fully fenced, off-leash freedom await your best fur-iend! Dogs gather in this mostly gravel and dirt dog park for a few rounds of sniffs and pawfect playtime. There's no shortage of water here, either. Daring dogs may take a plunge in one of the kiddie pools so useful in the summer heat. Human companions will find a comfortable place to relax at the nearby benches. The Dogport is open sunrise to sunset. This dog park is restricted to members only. Registration is through the city.

The city limits of Olivette is six miles north of Maryland Heights. Dogs have a treat at Zeid Citizen’s Park! The city offers dogs some green grass all their own. This fenced, off-leash paradise for pooches has what dogs need to have the most fun--each other!  Necessities like water and waste stations will be found here too.  A dog’s person will not be uncomfortable in shaded places to sit and watch their pup play. This dog park operates according to the schedule of the main park. Walking paths and green spaces to enjoy on-leash complete a perfect visit. Dogs must register before use. Nonresidents are admitted after paperwork is completed and the fee is paid.

Creve Coeur is a mere four miles south of Maryland Heights. The Creve Coeur Dog Park at Conway Park gives two acres of space for large dog fun. Your small pal won’t feel left out here, though; he gets a half-acre all to himself! Leash-free play, along with with all the necessary amenities like water and waste stations, are found here. Bone-shaped kiddie pools give daring pups a place to dive and cool down. This dog park has grass galore! Smells of fresh grass and some dirt to plow a nose in makes a visit here a dog’s best day ever.  This dog park is members-only, so be sure to visit the city and register to get the code.

Ballwin is fifteen miles south of Maryland Heights. Tails & Trails at Queeny Park has five acres of outdoor playground for a pack of friendly dogs to enjoy. No worry for the smaller or more timid dogs--they won’t be disturbed in their separate play spot. So much nature in one spot makes more than a few tails wag! A running creek makes the pawfect place to take a dip on a hot summer’s day. Dogs can explore the lake, too. Human companions will find plenty of their own spots to sit and enjoy the view.  This dog park requires prior registration with St. Louis County.

Sunset Hills is fifteen miles south of Maryland Heights. An acre of fenced green grass beckons the dog that needs to run! Kitun Dog Park on Eddie & Park Road gives dogs that opportunity to run and play free of a leash. Small dogs aren’t left out. They have their own oasis of leash-free fun, too. Dogs also have agility equipment to try out or train on. No necessity is lacking at Kitun. Water and waste baggies make it easy for the human companion to look after their best fur-iend. A bench and a bit of shade soothes the psyche of the waiting human companion. Kitun requires a membership. Registration is with Sunset Hills or Crestwood.
