The park offers a few pavilions for shade, and if you get lucky, the sprinklers will be on for Fido to run in. This dog park does require a membership to join, and you won't be able to get into the park without a key card. Make sure to bring clean-up bags along with you.

Go on a great hike with your dog along the Bill Chipman Palouse Trail. The trail is 15.1-miles long with an asphalt trail surface. There is a 209-foot elevation gain on an out and back route, making it an easy hike for any level of hiker. The trail is always popular with hikers, bikers, and joggers, so make sure your dog wants to socialize. While hiking, you will pass a stream where Fido can stop for some water.
