Sherman is a small town in Grayson County, Texas, that originally got its name from General Sidney Sherman, a hero from the Texas Revolution. Filled with a plethora of parks to take a walk in, and a few restaurants to dine at, your pup will have a great time in Sherman with you. There are seven veterinarians in Sherman, perfect for your dog to get a check-up at.

Take Fido out to Binkley Park for a fun day under the sun. The park has minimal amenities, making it a great place to just kick back and relax with your pup. They offer a pavilion for shade and a walking trail that you and Fido can use for a great afternoon walk.

Stop into Cowboy Chicken for a bite to eat. They offer an array of chicken options, including BBQ drumsticks, chicken rotisserie plates, and sandwiches featuring chicken. Their side options will have your dog drooling for a taste, and their outdoor patio is perfect for the two of you to sit down on and enjoy a meal together.

If you both need a place to stay, Sherman is filled with hotels you both can get a good rest at. La Quinta Inn and Suites Sherman Dension, Comfort Suites Sherman, and Super 8 Sherman all welcome your furry pal to stay the night with them.
