Take an eight-mile drive north and east to Lake Fort Smith State Park. This facility offers hiking, camping, fishing, and more. You and your special pal will get lots of fresh air when you visit. Dogs are permitted if they're on a leash and you pick up their waste.

Another pawtastic park to visit with your furry pal is Devil's Den State Park. Here, you can go hiking through the Ozark National Forest, do some backpacking, or go camping.
