Main Street
Take your pup over to the Dana Park Community Center for a fun afternoon out. The park has a playground, restrooms, a shady picnic area, tennis courts, and a skate park. Your dog will love running in the open grass area or using the paved walking path and get a good walk in together. Lillian Park is another great park to hang out at with your furry pal. This huge park offers a baseball field, playground, a picnic area with BBQs, and a large grass field/ There is a paved walking trail around that park that you two can use for a walk together.36
Southwest Heights
Your dog will love visiting the Barstow Heights Park in this lovely neighborhood. Between the covered picnic area, playground, and BBQs, your dog will never want to leave this pawsome park. There is a huge grass field that your dog can run around, and a nice paved walking path that you two can use for a long walk together throughout. Make sure that when you are out at the Barstow Heights Park to keep your dog on a leash, and don't forget to bring your water and clean-up bags along with you.24
Southwest Barstow
If you and Fido get a bit hungry while hanging around South Barstow, stop into Oggi's Pizza and Brewing Company and grab a bite to eat. Their menu includes sports bar favorites like pizzas and burgers, plus dessert. Their staff is dog-friendly and will offer bowls of water to your furry pal. If you are just looking to grab a drink instead, head over to Starbucks and grab a drink for yourself and a puppiccino for your furry pal. Both of these pawsome restaurants offer dog-friendly patios and welcome your pup to dine alongside you while you chow down on some tasty food.12
Lenwood/Barstow
Fido will have a great time hanging out at Jasper Park with you. This dogtastic park offers a playground, covered picnic area, tons of grass to run around, and restrooms. There is a paved walking trail around the park that your dog can use for a nice walk. Lenwood Park is filled with a basketball court, covered picnic area, and a nice walking trail that can be used for a walk alongside your pup. Remember to keep your dog on a leash when you visit both of these parks, and don't forget to bring water along with you since there isn't a lot of shade.
North Barstow
If Fido is looking to get a good hike in alongside you, head over to the Owl Canyon Trail. This pawsome trail is 3.3-miles long with a 472-foot elevation gain on an out and back route. The trail will take you through a canyon and near campgrounds where you and your pup can stop for a break and enjoy the grounds. If Fido wants to continue adventuring, you can grab a campsite at the Owl Canyon Campground.
