Bring water and doggy bags, and have a pawesome time walking here. If you want to cool down after your walk, head over to Cold Stone Creamery. Sit at one of their dog-friendly outdoor tables, and enjoy freshly made ice cream, sundaes, frozen yogurt, and much more.

Washington Avenue

If your dog enjoys playing in the water, they’re sure to love spending the day at Country Kennels Dawg Waterpark. This unique waterpark is located 18 miles from Winchester, and it has tons of fun features for your pup. Your dog can splash around in the park’s pool, which has a diving dock and tunnels for your pup to run through. There’s also an artificial beach where your dog can relax and soak in the sun, and there’s artificial grass all around the pool area. To use this fun waterpark, you’ll have to pay a small fee. After the dog park, treat your pup to lunch at In-N-Out Burger. Order your dog a “protein style” burger, which is simply a plain patty with no salt. As your dog enjoys their burger, you can dine on cheeseburgers, milkshakes, and more.

If you’re looking for a woofderful place to take your dog for an on-leash walk, try Lake Skinner Park. This park is just 14 miles from Winchester, and it has a beautiful walking path you can explore with your dog. This path will take you around scenic Lake Skinner, and you’ll enjoy great views on your whole walk. Bring some water and doggy bags with you, and have an amazing time hiking here. If all that walking makes you hungry, head over to Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar.
