The city of Temecula, California, is a total hit with the tourists thanks to attractions and sights as the Temecula Valley Wine Country, Old Town Temecula, and the Temecula Valley International Film Festival. But Temecula is not only a great place to visit by yourself. With splendid pet-friendly hotels such as the Ponte Vineyard Inn or the Temecula Creek Inn, you can bring your dog too!

You can’t think of the Temecula Valley and not think of wine. Luckily, you can take your canine friend with you when touring the many vineyards the Valley has to offer. Palumbo Family Vineyards & Winery, Gershon Bachus Vintners, and Hart Winery are just a few examples of vineyards that allow dogs.

If you want to give your furry pal some exercise, there are also plenty of options. The JC Pooch Park is a 5-acre dog park divided into three areas: a 2-acre grassy field where dogs can run and chase balls, a 1000 sq. ft. pond for dogs that love to get wet and an area for small dogs.

The Redhawk Community Park is also a great option as it is the home of Temecula’s first dog park. Dogs can run around without a leash in one of the two areas, depending on its size. The park is readily and easily accessible from the highway and offers a way for you to relax and your pet to get rid of some of that energy.
