Murrieta is situated along Interstate 215 and Interstate 15, and a short 5.5 miles from Wildomar. Torrey Pines Dog Park is located on the grounds of the 8.8-acre Torrey Pines Park, which includes designated areas for small and large pups, picnic tables, shade, a snack bar, and water fountain! Country Kennels Dawg Water Park is a fun place you can take your pooch to swim in a saltwater pool and splash in water spigots. This pawesome place also features water tunnels, open grassy spaces, and shade! For some relaxation, Honeycutt Farms, Los Primos Mexican Food, Carnitas Express, and Epic Wings-N-Things let dogs chill out on their patios while their humans dine!

Wildomar

Wildomar is nestled in between Interstate 15 and the expansive Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park. Morgan Trail, located inside the Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park, is a great place to walk your dog. It features fairly easy terrain that is 6 miles and takes an estimated 2 hours to finish. The San Juan Loop Trail is another path you and Fido can explore together. This one is easier than the Morgan Trail, coming in at 2 miles. Tenaja Falls Trail, also in the wilderness park, is the easiest trail that clocks in at a simple 1.5 miles. Whichever path you choose, you will be met with gorgeous views, fresh air, and sunshine!

Menifee

Only 14 miles northeast of Wildomar, Menifee provides its citizens with fast access to Interstate 215 and 15, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Aldergate Dog Park invites your off-leash dogs to socialize and play in a fenced-in area that provides separate large and small dog areas, water fountains, benches and waste stations! Menifee Dog Park is another off-leash, fenced-in space your pooch can take advantage of. Amenities include separate areas for big and little dogs, picnic tables, shade trees, and an agility course. If all that fun at the dog parks has you rumbly in your tummy, In-N-Out Burger and Provecho Grill cater to pups!

Valle De Los Caballos

Valle De Los Caballos means Valley of Horses in Spanish. However, it should be renamed Valle De Los Perros (Valley of Dogs) because it is so dog-friendly! This neighborhood is just 12 miles south of Wildomar and is a few miles from Interstate 15 and Interstate 215. JC Pooch Park is a large off-leash dog park that spans 5 acres and provides toys, agility courses, a 1,000 square foot pond, water, shade, electricity, and waste stations! Lake Skinner Recreation Area also offers sailing, horseback riding, camping, and hiking; dogs that are on-leash are permitted to enjoy the park’s amenities with their owners (except the water).

Temecula

Temecula is approximately 12 miles south of Wildomar and is a very family-friendly community that is directly off Interstate 15. Temecula Dog Exercise Area is a local off-leash dog park that comes with 3 separate doggie play areas that are all securely gated to ensure comfort and safety. Rotary Park, Ronald Reagan Sports Park, and Calle Aragon Park invite on-leash dogs to utilize the walkways and open spaces to get some healthy exercise and play! Gershon Bachus Vintners is a popular and classy winery in Temecula that welcomes dogs to lounge and take in the gorgeous property while their human counterparts enjoy amazing wine.
