Hi! My name is Drew and I love dogs! I grew up in Connecticut with my dog named Coconut. I am familiar with dog walking as well as boarding and pet sitting! Meeting dogs always makes my day 10x better. I love walking and now that I live in the city I don’t always get around to it, which is another reason why Wag! is great! I will treat your dog like the good boy/girl they are and always make sure you and your pooch are happy with the walk!

“Ambitious, Young, & Driven Pal For Your Furbaby”

Animals have played a significant role throughout my life, and I genuinely appreciate them to this day. My family was very influential in teaching me to love, respect, and care for our cats and dog properly, growing up. In the past, I have helped my family, neighbors, and friends care for their pets as well. Although I currently do not have any pets of my own, I still value the animals who find me along my life's journey. I always seem to have a place for them in my heart. How can you not?

Dog Walking in East Lyme

Located midway between New York and Boston, East Lyme is a vibrant coastal town filled with historic buildings and outdoor recreation areas. People and puppers alike will find plenty to do in East Lyme. In case Fido needs to go to the vet, there are two animal clinics in town.

Tucked under the Niantic River Bridge, Cini Memorial Park is a small waterfront area facing the Niantic River. Here, you can have a riverside picnic with Fido, watch charter fishing boats sail off, or take your best bud for a leashed stroll on the beach. There are also interpretive signs installed at the park to help visitors learn more about the river.

From Cini Memorial Park, you and Fido can access the Niantic Bay Boardwalk, which is considered to be one of the best waterfront walkways in Connecticut. With puptastic views of Niantic Bay and Long Island Sound, this mile-long boardwalk is a great spot to take your pooch for a walk. Dogs and bikes are not allowed during summer, however, so schedule your visit in the off season.

When hunger strikes, head to Main Street to grab a bite to eat. Many restaurants offer outdoor seating, including Cafe Sol, Palmieri's Slice Shop, and Smarty's Restaurant & Pub.

Come explore the shore and more with Fido at East Lyme!

Situated on top of a bluff overlooking Niantic Bay and Long Island Sound, the park also has a playground, walking paths, a tented picnic area, and a pretty wooden pavilion where performances are held. Named after the Nehantic Indians, the Nehantic State Forest was the first state forest in New London County. Fido is welcome to join you in exploring these historic wildlands as long as he remains leashed. The Nehantic State Forest is a puptastic place to take your best friend for a quiet hike, swim, or picnic while surrounded by nature. To make things even more fun and exciting, official letterboxes are hidden throughout the forest, so be sure to bring your personal record book and stamp. Keep in mind that hunting is permitted in the forest, so you may want to avoid visiting during hunting season.

Located in the neighboring town of Waterford, Mago Point Park is a furrific place to take in views of the Niantic River and watch the sunset with your pup by your side. Despite its relatively small size, the park contains walkways, benches, and an observation deck that lets you get a closer look at the boats coming in and out of Niantic Bay. Enjoy a packed dinner on one of the benches at Mago Point Park, or take a short walk to the nearby Dock Restaurant. This dog-friendly eatery allows four-legged customers on the deck, which also offers great views of the water.
