Royal Palm Beach

It will take you and your dog about half an hour to make the 30-mile drive east of Belle Glade to northeastern Royal Palm Beach, Florida and the Crestwood Dog Park. This neighborhood dog park has plenty of room for your dog to explore, and it's divided into big and small dog sections. A four-foot fence surrounds the whole park, and the park also has a dog wash station, water fountains, and covered seating areas. Crestwood Park is a 4.5-acre park that also includes picnic areas and sports courts, and your dog can hang out with you in other areas of the park when they're on a leash.

Madison

Stuart is a city on Florida's Atlantic coast with a population of more than 16,000 people. The city is known for its abundance of outdoor activities and historic sites, and the southwestern corner of the city is no exception. In under an hour, you and your dog can drive to the Poppleton Creek Dog Park, a clean and welcoming off-leash park. Within Poppleton Creek Dog Park, there are different enclosures for big and small dogs, and there are also plenty of seating areas and lots of shade. There's a lake near the park, but visitors say it's a common alligator hangout, so it's best to keep your dog out of the water.

The Bluffs

Jupiter is a town of more than 60,000 people less than an hour east of Belle Glade. The southeastern neighborhood known as The Bluffs is located in southeastern Jupiter, and it has a mix of single-family homes and condos all near the coast. This area is also where you and your dog will discover the F.I.N.D. Park. This 24-acre park has canoe and kayak launches, as well as trails, playgrounds, and an off-leash dog park. The F.I.N.D. Dog Park has separate enclosures for big and little dogs, with another grassy area that leads to a dog beach where your pup can frolic in the water without the constraints of a leash.

Banyan Bay Apartments

If you and your dog drive an hour southeast of Belle Glade, you'll arrive in southeastern Coconut Creek, Florida. Just outside Banyan Bay Apartment Homes, you'll find the Windmill Dog Park, and making the trip here is a great way to spend an afternoon with your dog. This off-leash park has different sections for dogs of different sizes, and it recently underwent a significant renovation, and so did the surrounding park. The dog park also has a selection of obstacles, as well as water fountains, waste disposal supplies, and shaded seating areas. Other activities at Windmill Park include a covered playground and sports courts, but your dog must be on a leash in all other areas.

Lake Ida

The Lake Ida Dog Park in northern Delray Beach, Florida is less than an hour away from Belle Glade. You and your dog will arrive to find what just might be your new favorite dog park! There's one area for dogs who weigh less than 30 pounds, as well as a section for bigger dogs, and there's a third section that's closed on a rotating schedule to allow the turf to recover. Lake Ida Dog Park also has water fountains for humans and canines, as well as plenty of balls to chase, shaded seating areas, a dog wash station, and waste disposal supplies.
