River Rd/Bryan Rd
The River Rd/Bryan Rd neighborhood of Fort Valley includes farmland, open areas, and residential neighborhoods. There are apartments, single-family homes, a cemetery, and some churches here. In this community, you'll find a pawesome recreational space where you and Spot can get some fresh air. Check out South Peach Park off Murray Road. This facility includes a playground, ball fields, tennis courts, and a walking path. Jog or walk on the trail loop with your four-footed pal for exercise. Remember to keep pups on a lead up to six feet long when visiting a public property. Carry bags to collect any droppings.37

City Center
Fort Valley's City Center includes some apartment buildings, houses, a shopping district, and the main factory for the Blue Bird Corporation. In this area, you can visit the Fort Valley Downtown and Historic Railroad District to view the Troutman House, three railroad buildings, and other structures that date back to the mid-1800s. Bring Fido with you to take a stroll in Everett Square Memorial Park. This small facility includes open lawn, benches, a central memorial circle, and a paved walking loop. Pets can be on the public property if they're on a lead and under your control. Make sure you remove their waste.25

Houston Lake/Pabst
In the Houston Lake/Pabst neighborhood of Perry, you'll find a few public schools, houses, apartment complexes, the city hospital, and some businesses. This community is about 13 miles southeast of town, and it includes a furrific recreational property. Rozar Park off Keith Drive offers a variety of ways to get your exercise with your fur-baby. There are two fishing ponds, athletic fields, a picnic area, and a walking trail here. Leash up your pup and go for a stroll around the water together. After stretching your legs, relax at one of the tables in the facility. Keep pets on a lead when you visit.12

Meadowdale/Moss Oak
The area around Meadowdale and Moss Oaks Road is about 12 miles southeast of Fort Valley. This community includes academic institutions, the Georgia National Fairgrounds, some farms, and a few residential developments. Near this area, you'll find Creekwood Park. The 30-acre facility has a picnic area, athletic fields, and open space. Come with Spot to watch a ball game or play frisbee in the grass. You can also connect to the White Tail Trail pathway for a stroll with your pooch here. Pets need to be on a cord or lead and in control when you visit this public property.
