For some fun in the sun with your canine, head on over to the East End Playground when you are in Frostburg! Here you can let your pup roll and roam around on the grass, as well as enjoy a game of fetch. There are trees here that will provide some shade when it is hot outside. Another pawsome place you can go is the Frostburg Recreational Complex! Here there is a sniff-tastic walking path you can follow for a leisurely stroll, as well as grass for your pup. There are furrific amenities here you can enjoy, including a basketball court, baseball field, playground for the kids and a community pool.

La Vale
For a pawsome day out with your pooch, head to the puptown of La Vale! This puptastic place is around 7.5 miles from Frostburg, and it is home to the furrific dog friendly Dairy Queen. Here you can dig into some delicious food during the day, such as burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and chicken, as well as save some space for dessert. A special Pup Cup is on offer here, which is vanilla soft serve ice cream for your good pup. Of course, there are also outdoor tables here where you can spend some time with your canine.

Only 10 miles from Frostburg, you will find the pawsome puptown of Cumberland! Here you can join the puptastic Great Allegheny Passage, which has over 150 miles you can explore with your furry friend. This is the longest sniff-tastic trail that stretches along the Mississippi and there are some furrific scenery you can enjoy on a leisurely stroll with your canine. If you get hungry, head to the Queen City Creamery! Here you can grab a delicious frozen custard dessert, with lots of tasty flavors you can choose from. In addition, there are outdoor tables here where you can watch the world go by with your pooch.

This pawsome place is only 10 miles from Frostburg, and is home to the puptastic Constitution Park. There is also some trees here that will provide some much-needed shade when the temperature is high during the day. For some fun with the family, there are some furrific amenities you can use.
