This is where you will find the Clinton Township Dog Park, a designated dog park which stretches out for one and a half acres, and is fully fenced off. There are benches here for owners to sit and socialize, but you will need to bring your own doggie bags and drinking water, while also ensuring that your dog's vaccinations are up to date. If your pup would prefer a walk on the lead, head over to Canal Park, which is just over 16 acres in size. This is a passive park, consisting mostly of different types of woodland, making for a tail-wagging dog walk.

Moravian Oaks

There are quite a few parks in Clinton Charter Township, and one of the most popular of them all can be accessed from the Moravian Oaks neighborhood. Budd Park sprawls out for just under 46 acres, and is home to a number of different facilities. From a couple of playground areas to soccer fields and volleyball courts to picnic pavilions, complete with grills, there is definitely plenty to see here. What your pup will love the most is the nature trail, which takes you through some of the various habitats within the park. While dogs are welcome in this park, they do need to be kept on a lead at all times, and don't forget to bring some doggie bags and drinking water with you too.

Kingsley/ Royal/ Cesar

If you and your pooch enjoy shopping, then you will both definitely love the Kingsley/ Royal/ Cesar neighborhood. This is where you will find the Mall at Partridge Creek, which is an outdoor shopping mall that is incredibly dog-friendly. Not only are dogs welcome in many of the stores here, but there are even doggie comfort stations dotted throughout the mall, with fresh water to ensure that Fido is never thirsty. If you would like to treat your pooch to a snack, the Three Dog Bakery within the mall serves up freshly baked dog treats, and will always have a few samples available for visiting dogs.

Frederick Estates

The Frederick Estates neighborhood is home to another one of Clinton Charter Township's popular parks. Known as the George George Memorial Park, this park stretches out for 30 acres, and, thanks to its beautiful landscaping, is a popular place for weddings and other special occasions. There is a fountain plaza at the center of the park, as well as a large play scape, a wedding garden, and several picnic tables, some of which are quite secluded. Your pooch will love the network of walking and biking trails that run through this park, all of them connecting up with each other so that the two of you can enjoy a long leisurely walk together.

Pines of Moravian

The Pines of Moravian neighborhood in Sterling Heights is right next to Clinton Charter Township, and is home to a couple of pawtastic parks. The largest is the Freedom Hill County Park, where you will find 100 acres consisting of an amphitheater, picnic pavilions, a playground, open grassy lawns and a nature trail. If your pooch would prefer a longer walk, the Freedom Trail, also known as the Metro Parkway Trail, cuts through this park, and runs for just over 10 miles in total. Also in this neighborhood is the Mark Sawyers Family Park, with its sports facilities and playground, as well as a paved path encircling the park.
