North Shelby Township
Stony Creek Metro Park is located in North Shelby Township, just 20 miles away from Roseville. Although you'll have to keep your pup on-leash in this park, an adventure here will be a very beautiful experience for you and your pooch! Nature lovers will have a ball here, since there are plenty of hiking trails and beaches. Dogs are allowed everywhere, except on some designated beaches. There are plenty of picnic tables where you can sit back and relax. The best part? You'll find a few dog-friendly swimming areas where your canine friend is allowed to dip his paws!

Main Street Royal Oak
Just 12 miles west of Roseville, you'll find a furrific off-leash dog park: Wagner Park Dog Run. While the off-leash area has more than enough room for Fido to run and sniff out some new friends, you should keep in mind that the area is not fenced. If you have a runner, you might want to choose another place, or keep your pup on a leash. The area has plenty of trees that provide shade, as well as picnic tables and lots of open space perfect for playing fetch or chasing after a Frisbee! Bring your own water and poop baggies.

North Mt Clemens
Looking for a dog park a little closer to home? Behnke Memorial Dog Park is just 9 miles away from Roseville, in North Mt Clemens. The park is completely free and doesn’t require a membership, and there is fresh water available on-site. Be aware that there is no separate area for small dogs, so mind your pup's temperament if you plan to play here. Plenty of seating is available, and the park provides some doggie toys and trash cans for disposing of dog waste. Pit bulls and pit bull mixes have to be muzzled in this park.

North Madison Heights
Eleven miles away from Roseville is the Red Oaks Dog Park, a 5.2-acre, off-leash, fenced park located in North Madison Heights. Like most dog parks, this one features two separate areas for large and small breeds. Amenities include a doggie water fountain, a hose to rinse the grass from Fido's fur, and plenty of picnic tables where pet parents can relax and watch over their canine friends. Don't forget to bring some waste bags with you to keep the park clean for everyone! The park is free to visit and doesn't require a membership, but you'll need to pay for a parking pass.
South Saint Clair Shores
Statler Maloof Bark Park is the closest off-leash park to Roseville -- it's just 5.5 miles away in South Saint Clair Shores. You should keep in mind that the park is a members-only park, so you'll need to apply for a membership before visiting. The park is pretty spacious and most of it is shaded. The park is divided into a large dog area and a small dog area and features a covered shelter, which is mutts-appreciated on rainy days. Water, waste bags, and fun doggie toys are all provided! For the comfort of the human visitors. there are picnic tables and benches.
