In the South Hamtramck neighborhood, pups and their parents can enjoy Veterans Park. Spend time walking with Fido while the kids ride bikes on the path. There is also a playground where you can relax on a shaded bench and watch the kids play. The open field is great if you want to throw a ball for your pooch, or just roam through the area and let you pup roll around in the grass. Another option to walk some laps with your pooch is the Zussman or Winfield Park. This well-maintained area is beautifully decorated at Christmas time, and features shade trees, paved walkways, and benches where you can relax and watch the people go by.
