This 6.7-acre park has a swing set and a play structure for children to play, and a baseball field just perfect for your pup to roam on his long leash. Jackson Park, in the Oak Park Boulevard neighborhood, in the city of Oak Park, is a small park, just 5.3 acres in size, but has a nice baseball field where your fur-ever friend can stretch his legs on an extended leash in the nice grassy areas. Or you can catch a game on the weekends! There is also a playground for the kiddies where you can relax with your pawtastic pup in the adjoining open space. Bring plenty of water and be sure to clean up after your pup with your own mutt mitts. There is a restroom on site.

This Oak Park neighborhood offers dog-loving residents and visitors Best Park! Perfect for a walk, this small 3.7-acre park offers woofderful green space for your pup to explore. There is a large playground to keep the kiddies busy, and two tennis courts where you can watch a match in action! It is advised to keep your pawtastic pup on leash throughout this park, and bring plenty of water and mutt mitts to keep this park looking its best! The park is behind an elementary school, so if you have a shy pup, best to visit before or after school gets out.

The David H. Shepherd Park in the Marlow Street neighborhood is the area’s largest park, boasting over 56 acres! It has something for everyone and their pup! There are BBQ grills to flip some burgers, sports courts and fields, and 7 tennis courts. It is the place to take your fur-ever friend for a nice walk on their dedicated nature path and separate hiking trails. In the winter, grab your pup and your sled and head to the hill for some great sledding. This park offers indoor restrooms, but be sure to keep Fido on leash throughout.

Catalpa Oaks
The Catalpa Oaks neighborhood, in the city of Oak Park, is where you will find Harding Park. This 2-acre area is the perfect place to relax in the open spaces, take a walk, or check out the playground for the kiddies. Or wander over to Tyler Park.
