Old Town

Old Town

When in Trenton, a visit to the Old Town neighborhood is a must. Not only is it one of Trenton's oldest neighborhoods (hence the name) it's also one of the nicest. Among all the boutiques and businesses, make sure to stop in at the Tv's Deli & Diner for a doggone good meal in Trenton that's Fido-friendly. Pups are more than welcome to dine alongside their owners on the dog-friendly seating outdoors as long as the weather is pleasant. Enjoy classic American diner fare, served up fresh and with a smile. Don't forget to bring a few extra napkins, 'cause at Tv's, things are "bound" to get messy!

West Hedke

West Hedke

The West Hedke neighborhood in the western part of Trenton features two wooftastic parks where you and Fido can spend a day together. The Affholter Park features over 16 acres of grassy grounds, thus making it one of Trenton's largest community parks. A recently refurnished playscape invites the kiddos to have some fun, while pups are welcome to scour the rest of the park's tennis courts, basketball court and shady trees!  This lovely neighborhood also houses the Kennedy Park. Although smaller than the Affholter Park, Kennedy park features a wooftastic walking path just over a cute footbridge. Two playscapes, ample parking, and an adjacent outdoor aquatic center is some of Kennedy Park's most pawpular features.
Fort

Fort

Doggoes love to live and play in Trenton, simply because a community or neighborhood park lies around every corner. Two more puptastic parks, North and South McLouth Park, are up for exploring in the Fort neighborhood, located in the northern part of Trenton. North McLouth Park is a smallish park, but with plenty of activities to keep Fido entertained. Choose from the playground, benches, a footbridge, soccer fields and spacious greenspace to have some fun! Meanwhile, over at the South McLouth Park, family and friends gather, along with their furkids, to enjoy a natural foot trail, little league ballfields, a basketball court, and playground equipment. Make sure to spare some time to visit both parks with your pooch!
