Covering 9 acres on the banks of a slow-moving creek, this park features a walkway and piers for leisurely strolls, as well as a shaded gazebo and picnic tables for relaxation. The Davis Creek Park also includes a concrete boat ramp and kayak launching area, so you and Fido are likely to bump into kayakers while you're there.

If you and your pooch are walking along Main Street and need a place to take a break, stop by the Town Hall Park next to the Navassa Town Hall. This small, shady park is dotted with trees and picnic tables, offering visitors cool spots to enjoy a packed lunch.

A 7-minute drive from Navassa, Cypress Cove Park is composed of 1.2 acres of uplands and 27 acres of wetlands, with furrific views of Mill Creek. Cypress Cove is Leland's first water access site, and its features include a fixed deck overlook, floating dock, fishing area, outdoor classroom, and boat launch. Also located in this neighborhood is the town's first park, the Leland Municipal Complex Park. This 8-acre site has a 0.6-mile paved path that will lead you and your pooch around a playground, gazebo, and picnic tables.

Aside from wildlife such as crabs and birds, the Brunswick Riverwalk is home to a 125-foot fishing pier, viewing deck, and boat access for canoes and kayaks.
