Spending time with doggies is one of my very favorite things to do. I love the fun and simplicity of a stroll with a dog, and getting to know each dog’s distinct vibe. Dogs always bring a smile to my face and as corny as it may sound, I want to show them how much I appreciate them!!

“Fun, Energetic Walker”

I love dogs!! I have three shelter dogs and have been dog sitting for friends for a few years now. My favorite past time is to take my dogs to the dog park and try not to fall in love with every dog I meet. I am college bound and am looking for an enjoyable way to earn money for my schooling.

I am a young professional / recent graduate and I absolutely love all kinds of dogs. I really enjoy spending time outdoors and think this would be an amazing side position for me. Not being in a situation that would allow me to adopt my own dog, this is a perfect alternative to spend some quality time with awesome pups!

Hello! I have owned at least one dog for the last 17 years. I have had dogs as small as a Shih Tzu to a Goldendoodle. I recently gave my Goldendoodle to a neighbor who has a door with separation anxiety, our dogs became friends and once we realized how much she helped him I decided to do a good deed. Along with taking care of my own dogs, I have also helped to take care of dogs belonging to family, friends and friends.

Dog Walking in Navassa

Just 5 miles west of Wilmington lies Navassa, a small town nestled at the confluence of the Brunswick and Northwest Cape Fear Rivers. Named after a fertilizer factory that provided employment throughout the region for more than a century, Navassa is now one of the fastest-growing communities in Brunswick County. While there are no animal hospitals in this rural town, the closest facility is only a quick, 4-minute drive away in neighboring Leland.

Spend some time in nature with your pup at the Davis Creek Park! Covering 9 acres on the banks of a slow-moving creek, this park features a walkway and piers for leisurely strolls, as well as a shaded gazebo and picnic tables for relaxation. The Davis Creek Park also includes a concrete boat ramp and kayak launching area, so you and Fido are likely to bump into kayakers while you're there.

If you and your pooch are walking along Main Street and need a place to take a break, stop by the Town Hall Park next to the Navassa Town Hall. This small, shady park is dotted with trees and picnic tables, offering visitors cool spots to enjoy a packed lunch.

An easygoing, small-town experience awaits you and Fido in Navassa!
