South Navassa
Leash up and head down to the Navassa Township District Park to get some exercise in with your furry pal. Physical activity is vital in keeping your pupper happy and healthy, so make sure they get out of the house and get their walkies every day! Located in the heart of town, the Navassa Township District Park spans 5 acres and contains open grassy areas, athletic fields and courts, two playgrounds, and a concession stand with restrooms. There's also a picnic shelter where you and your pooch can hang out, so don't forget to bring some snacks and Fido's favorite treats!

Cedar Hill
Tucked at the intersection of Cedar Hill and Mount Misery Roads, Phoenix Park provides a relaxing environment to spend some quality time with your best friend. The former site of a materials factory, Phoenix Park offers a children's playground, horseshoe pit, softball field, basketball court, and picnic tables. Nature trails and boardwalks that wind through the woods in the back are planned, so that's something to look forward to! In the meantime, you and Fido can go for a leashed stroll on the grassy areas around the existing amenities. Remember to bring doggie waste bags to help keep the park clean!

Leland East
Go for a waterside walkie with your doggo at the Cypress Cove Park in nearby Leland! A 7-minute drive from Navassa, Cypress Cove Park is composed of 1.2 acres of uplands and 27 acres of wetlands, with furrific views of Mill Creek. Cypress Cove is Leland's first water access site, and its features include a fixed deck overlook, floating dock, fishing area, outdoor classroom, and boat launch. Also located in this neighborhood is the town's first park, the Leland Municipal Complex Park. This 8-acre site has a 0.6-mile paved path that will lead you and your pooch around a playground, gazebo, and picnic tables.

Northwest Leland
Head out 14 minutes west of Navassa to find the Northwest District Park in neighboring Leland. Spanning 35 acres, this park houses several athletic fields and courts that include five baseball/softball fields, so there's plenty of room for leashed walks with your furry buddy. If you need to take a pawse and sit down, there are four picnic shelters on-site as well. Another nice spot for walkies is the Leland Community Park, which is just a short drive from the Northwest District Park. The Leland Community Park features a paved walking path, playground, recycling area, picnic shelters, and baseball fields.

Hawkswater
The Brunswick Riverwalk at Belville, located 7 minutes southeast of Navassa, is a puptastic place to go for a leashed stroll and picnic by the water with your pooch. Situated on the banks of the Brunswick River, this park contains a short walking trail, boardwalk, and nature trails that any adventurous pup will enjoy. Aside from wildlife such as crabs and birds, the Brunswick Riverwalk is home to a 125-foot fishing pier, viewing deck, and boat access for canoes and kayaks. Three picnic shelters are also available for visitors who need a spot to eat or rest for a bit.
