Sandy Creek/Northwest
The Sandy Creek/Northwest neighborhood of Leland is a sparsely populated area with a few small developments and sections of forested land. Go hiking along wooded country lanes with your furry pal out here. If you're looking for a nice park to visit with Spot, head to Northwest District Park off Andrew Jackson Highway. This facility has athletic fields, tables, and open spaces. Play some fetch in the grass with your special pal, then enjoy a picnic together. Dogs need to be on a leash at all times. Bring waste bags with you so that you can clean up after your pooch.36

Eastbrook/Malmo
Eastbrook/Malmo is located in northern Leland about 3.5 miles southeast of Sandy Creek. This development includes private residences, a country club, and some pocket parks. There are sidewalks here where you can take a stroll with your four-footed friend. A pawesome little area park to visit with your fur baby is Leland Municipal Park on Town Hall Drive. This 8-acre property has a paved pathway, a playground, open areas, and tables. Take a few laps on the trail, then have a snack at one of the tables.
