Granville is a village located in central Ohio known for its amazing historic architecture. Some of its most important buildings in the classic Greek Revival style are the Avery-Hunter House, St. Luke's Episcopal Church, and Bryn Du Mansion. All of those buildings are on the U.S National Register of Historic Places. After a colony of settlers from Massachusetts moved to this place, they named it by their former home, and in 1805, Granville was founded.
During your stay there, you will have a veterinary hospital and an animal care center ready to help out with any emergencies related to your pooch's health. A nice place where you and your pup can go for a stroll in the village is the Licking Park District where leashed well-behaved doggos are very welcome!
If you need a place where you can spend a couple of nights with your pooch, we recommend that you absolutely check out the Small Batch Lodging, where one furbaby is allowed to stay with you. Another pawssibility is the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast.
The best part is that Granville is around 33 miles away from the capital of the state, so you can find more than 70 dog-friendly accommodations and more than 100 restaurants! Dog-friendly fun is just a bone's throw away in Granville!
