The Discovery Meadows Community Park is a great area to get a good walk in. The park features a climbing wall, splash park, and playground that you and Fido can enjoy together. Stroll the path that goes around and through the park to get your pup exercised for the day. If you and your pup are looking for some delicious bakery foods, stop into the Great Harvest Bread next door to the park and pick up some freshly prepared goodies. Their menu offers cookies, breads, scones, and more that Fido will be dying to get a taste of. They offer an outdoor patio where you and Fido can enjoy your tasty treats together. Only seven miles out of Amity in McMinnville, your pup won't mind the small car ride to check out this awesome park.

Take Fido out to the Riverside Drive Dog Park and let him have some great off leash time and meet some new friends. This 4-acre dog park features a large and small dog area so your furry pal can play with dogs his own size. The park is filled with a paved walkway, running water, and a clean-up station in case you forget your bags. When the weather is especially hot, there will even be kiddie pools out for the dogs to splash around in. If Fido would rather have a walk away from other dogs, take him over to the Joe Dancer Park. This 100-arce park is filled with sport fields, a playground, and tons of grass for fetch and rolling. Located in McMinnville, your dog will have a great time at both of these parks.

The Willamette Mission State Park offers a plethora of great amenities for you and your pup. This park is filled with fishing, horseback riding, boating, Frisbee gold, and picnicking. If Fido is up for a little adventure,  take him out on the hiking trails that run throughout the park. The trails range in length from 1-mile to 7-miles, giving you both a ton of options on what trail you want to hike. There are restrooms for owners to use, you can advantage of the campsites they have and spend a few nights in the park under the stars with your pup. Located in Gervais and only twelve miles out of Amity, your dog will love hiking throughout this pawsome area.

The Maud Williamson State Recreation Site is a small park that is perfect to take your pup to for a fun afternoon out and a good hike. The park is filled with Douglas fir trees that help provide shade for you and your pup. There is also a picnic area, volleyball courts, and a horseshoe play area that you both can enjoy together. Your dog will love the open grass space that he can run around in and get a good game of fetch in before the two of you head home for the day. This pawsome park is in Salem, and only ten miles out of Amity, making it a great park to head out to.

Take your pup out to the Sponges Landing County Park. This lovely park is right off of the Willamette River so Fido can run and splash around. There is a playground, a picnic area, and tons of grass that your dog can explore. The park is filled with big beautiful trees to help keep everyone shaded, and there are a few walking trails that you both can get a good walk in on. The park is located in Salem and a great space to hang out at with your furry pal before heading home for the day.
