Salem is a destination that should be on every pet-lover's bucket list. With several off-leash parks, camping sites, and cozy bed and breakfasts, you and your furry friend will feel right at home. Salem does their best to make everyone--human and animal--feel included in everything their city has to offer. For the adventurous types, check out Silver Falls State Park. You will surely be breathless at the gorgeous waterfalls flowing down and Fido will be, completely content with the endless trails and smells to be had. At the end of the day, pitch a tent and snuggle up by a blazing campfire.

If you prefer a more romantic setting, especially if you own a kitty or even a shy pooch, the Bethell Woods B&B is perfect for you! Nestled in the wine country of Salem, you will be tucked away to get wonderful views of the Three Sisters Mountains and are only short distances away from state parks and of course the Chateau Bianca vineyard. For quality time spent with your furry friend, check out one of the gentle sloping bike paths off of the property to head into the woods for some sight-seeing.

If you wanted to document your experience in Salem and truly capture the fun your pet has been having, maybe you could get their picture taken at Christy G Photography. They have the capability to put your pet's photo on almost anything! A really unique souvenir, we think! After you spend a day treating your pet like a celebrity, stop by Boon's Treasury for a bite to eat on the terrace. Salem is a lovely place full of culture, history, and of course, nature.
