Dog Walking in Stayton

Known for its regional agricultural and manufacturing center, plus the Silver Falls State Park, Stayton attracts tons of tourists year around. With two veterinarians in town, your dog will be well taken care of while hanging around Stayton.

The Northslop Park is the park your pup wants to explore. The park is filled with amenities Fido will love to see, including a playground,  a large grass field, and a picnic area. There is a great paved walking path that winds its way through the park that you and your dog can use for a good walk together. Make sure your pup stays on a leash at the park, and you bring clean-up bags along with you.

Stop into Big Town Hero for a bite to eat with your dog by your side. They are known for their "ultimate sandwich" on a menu that includes soups, salads, and hot or cold subs. Their outdoor seating area is the perfect spot to relax with your meal with your best furry pal by your side.

Enjoy the large grass field that goes throughout the park, plus the benches that line the walking trail, playground, covered picnic area, and restrooms. The walking trail is the perfect spot to get a walk in at with your dog, just remember to keep him on a leash. Make sure to bring a water bowl along with you so that the pup can enjoy a drink too.

If Fido is itching for some time off leash, head over to the Stayton Dog Park. This dogtastic park offers two sections, one for large dogs and one for small, plus drinking fountains. The park is covered in bark to help keep your dog cleaner, and there are clean-up stations around the park. Pioneer Park offers a playground, covered picnic area, a covered walking bridge, and a small creek. There is an amazing trail here that you and Fido can use for a great walk. Wilderness Park has a playground and a trail that goes around the river that you and your dog can walk along. After fun out at the park, stop into the Gardner House Cafe and Bed and Breakfast. Their menu includes breakfast and lunch options, plus their outdoor patio is dog-friendly.

Check out the Westown Park with your four-legged friend by your side. The park is filled with a playground,  a few picnic tables, and a nice open grass space for your dog. Enjoy the walking path that goes throughout the park and is covered by trees to help provide shade for you and your pup. Make sure to keep your dog on a leash when you are visiting, and don't forget to bring your water and clean-up bags along with you.

The park is covered in shade by trees and offers a few picnic tables, benches to sit on, a playground, and tons of grass for a game of fetch. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you to the park, and don't forget to keep your dog on a leash and bring clean-up bags with you.
