Mount Angel is a small community in Marion County, which is only eighteen miles out of Salem. The town is known for having charm that you would only find in a small town. The most notable thing about Mount Angel is the huge German presence it has. Between the restaurants and holding a yearly Oktoberfest event, you will feel like you're in the middle of Germany.  Home to three fantastic veterinarians, Mount Angel is a great place to visit with Fido.

Head over to Ebner Park for a fun day out with your furry pal exercising and exploring. The park offers a playground, basketball court, soccer field, benches, and water fountains. There is a great walking path throughout the park, so you and Fido can explore the entire park together.

Grab a bite to eat at The Glockenspiel Restaurant and Pub, which serves authentic German food. They originally built their establishment so Mount Angel would have a gathering place, but then it blossomed into much more, and is now considered the town's living room. If you're looking for a smaller eatery, stop into Mount Angel Sausage. They offer a variety of sausages, jerky, and lagers for you and your pup to enjoy.
