The neighborhood of Woodbridge includes commercial and residential areas. You and Fido can go for a walk or jog past landscaped yards in this community. When you want to give your special pal a chance to get some exercise with other canines, head to Prince William County Dog Park on Minnieville Road. This facility includes separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, agility equipment in both areas, and benches for the humans. There are also waste bags and containers here so that you can clean up after your pooch. Make sure to bring some water for you and your furry friend when you visit this area.

Belmont Bay

The residential neighborhood of Belmont Bay is located at the mouth of the Occoquan River. This peaceful area includes a small community park, a golf course with walking trail, and a marina. When you want to put out into the Potomac River, bring your boat to Belmont Bay Harbor Marina. The boat ramp here is open to the public. There's also a paved walkway along the water's edge where you and your pup can stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery. Dogs are welcome to join you in the marina as long as you keep them on a leash and clean up their waste.

Dawson Landing

The small development of Dawson Landing, located along Marumsco Creek, is a quiet residential area that includes a few parks and natural areas. Take your canine companion walking along the creek and pond at Marumsco Acre Lake Park in this neighborhood. Continue your hike by following Partridge Road to the pedestrian overpass that heads east across the railroad tracks to Veterans Memorial Park. There are grills and tables here so that you and your pooch can enjoy a picnic in the park. Dogs are permitted to accompany you in this area provided that you keep them on a leash and you pick up their waste.

Marumsco Village

In the neighborhood of Marumsco Village, located east of I-95, you'll find some schools, a few community parks, and residential streets. There are plenty of areas where you and your pup can go for a walk or jog down quiet streets. When you want to enjoy some green space and maybe a picnic in the park, head to Lancaster Park off York Drive. This small facility includes playgrounds, some wooded areas, and a walking trail that circles the park. You can bring dogs here as long as they're on a leash and under your control. Remember to bring along waste bags and pick up any messes while you're here.

Rippon Landing

Rippon Landing is a neighborhood in the southern section of Woodbridge that's near a wildlife refuge and by Neabsco Creek. In this area, you and Fido can enjoy a walk by the water on the Neabsco Boardwalk. For a special treat, take your pal to Rippon Landing Park. Wander through the woods or enjoy a picnic here with your pup. Head across Blackburn Road to the Rippon Lodge Historic Site. Stroll along the pathway that circles the building. Dogs on a leash can join you here provided that you clean up after them. Make sure to bring some water for you and your pup.
