Mason Neck State Park is right across the river between Maryland and Virginia. It will take about an hour to get there (by car, anyway), as the nearest bridge is near Alexandria, Virginia. But it is well worth the drive if you are looking for a pupperific adventure!

North Indian Head is right next door to Potomac Heights. There are several parks in the area that are worth sniffing out with your pooch.
