Potomac Heights

Potomac Heights

Potomac Heights is a small town, but it has a big heart! Visitors and new families are always welcome. The area has been growing over the last few years and is projected to continue doing so. If you are looking for commuter-friendly housing that allows dogs, there is plenty of that to go around in Potomac Heights. Mason Neck State Park is right across the river between Maryland and Virginia. It will take about an hour to get there (by car, anyway), as the nearest bridge is near Alexandria, Virginia. But it is well worth the drive if you are looking for a pupperific adventure!

Bring a blanket and a book along and relax with your best friend by your side. It goes without saying that you'll need to bring water and waste bags along to help keep the park clean -- but a little reminder never hurt anyone!
