Chambers Bay

Tacoma is a big city in Washington that's only about 30 miles from Allyn. In the southwestern neighborhood of Chambers Bay sits the Chambers Bay Off-Leash Park and Beach. The entirety of Chambers Bay Park is seven acres, and the dog park takes up one acre of that space. The dog park has a separate area for small or senior dogs, and a general area for all dogs. The dog beach is just across from the dog park, and it's the pawfect place for your dog to show off their doggy paddle or play a game of fetch in the water.

Eastern Port Orchard

The Howe Farm County Dog Park in Port Orchard, Washington is about a half-hour drive from Allyn. Located on the eastern outskirts of the city, this dog park offers nearly four acres of land for your dog to explore, as well as several walking trails for you both to use. This park opened in 2008, and it quickly became a favorite spot for visitors and locals alike to bring their dogs. There is water, seating, waste disposal items, and ample parking at the off-leash area. Throughout the park, you'll come across several streams where your dog can cool off.

Downtown Silverdale

Silverdale is a town in Washington with a population of more than 20,000 people. It takes about half an hour to get to central-western Silverdale and the Silverdale Dog Park. This dog park opened in 2010 to provide Silverdale residents as well as visitors with a clean, safe, and fun place to bring their dog to socialize. Silverdale Dog Park is double-gated for added safety, and inside there is seating, waste disposal items, and water as well. If your dog is just a little one, there's a separate space where they can play just with other small dogs.

Bandix Road SE

Olalla, Washington has a dog park that's as fun as its name! The Bandix Dog Park takes less than a half an hour to get to from Allyn, and it's on the western edge of town. This park has several acres of prime sniffing locations for your pooch, and there are also miles of walking trails within the park that you can traverse with your dog. Each of the dog-friendly trails is marked with a bone sign, so you'll never have to wonder where to go. There is lots of seating in the park if you need a break from walking, and there are water bowls available for your dog as well.

McCormick Forest Park

Gig Habor is a city on the shore of Puget Sound in Pierce County, Washington. It's less than 20 miles from Allyn, and in west Gig Harbor there's a pawfect dog park you won't want to miss! The PenMet Rotary Bark Park is both a dog's and a dog owner's paradise, with 15 acres of wooded areas and trails to explore with your dog off-leash. The entire Rotary Park is 97 acres, and there are plenty of parts in the rest of the park you'll want to explore with your pet, but they must be on a leash. In the off-leash area, you'll appreciate the dog waste disposal items provided by the park.
