Skagit River Brewery is about 13 miles from Howards Corner and they invite you to join your dog for a meal made for fun. Do you like ribs? Maybe some pizza -- everyone loves pizza! Then grab a deck table and enjoy sitting outside in the beautiful weather. You’ll love the craft brews as much as Fido will love begging you for a bite of your meal. Mt. Vernon
While enjoying the city, you should definitely make the most of your 13-mile trip by stopping in and visiting a place that was made just for Fido and his fur friends. Bakerview Dog Park is relatively new but it has lots of room for Fido to play off his leash within a safe gated area. He’ll also be able to enjoy the water feature in the summer months. There are plenty of spaces for you to sit and watch Fido work up a good pant. This park is still adding features, so be sure to visit often to keep up with all the new changes.

Sisco
It is a little bit of a drive at 45 miles, but puntastic Strawberry Fields for Rover Dog Park is definitely worth driving to. When you get there, be prepared to walk your dog through the park on a leash to get to the dog park area. Don’t worry; there are fountains for both of you along the way. Once you get there, you can enjoy all the amenities you’d expect from a great dog park. There are cleaning stations, sitting areas, and lots of room to run and play. This is funded by donations, so while there is no fee to play, you may want to chip in to help keep it beautiful.
