Introduction

Bones was a popular procedural crime drama that focused on forensic anthropology and archeology. It followed the career and life of Temperance Brennan, a brilliant forensic anthropologist who also writes mystery books with a main character named Kathy Reichs, and is loosely based on the novels by forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs. Brennan works at the fictional Jeffersonian Institute in Washington DC and is frequently paired up with liaison to the FBI, Special Agent Seeley Booth, who refers to her as Bones, due to her expertise with skeletal remains. The complex and nuanced plots and relationships that characterized the show, combined with its heart and humor, kept Bones running for twelve successful seasons and resulted in two hundred and forty-six episodes.

Bones Dog Name Considerations

There are several ways to choose a name for your new pooch such as selecting a moniker from a list of names with a certain definition that is particularly fitting for your dog, or choosing a name to honor a certain individual, like the Wrights did when they named their new family companion Cam. Another method can be picking a name from a favorite book, movie, or television show. If you are a fan of the long-running television show Bones, there are several ways to pinpoint the best name for your canine companion. Some people might choose one of your dog's physical features to highlight, naming a curly-coated dog after Jack Hodgins or Lance Sweets, a red-coated dog after intern Jessica Warren, or a canine with a pronounced beard after ZZ Top band member Billy Gibbons, Angela's father.

Another option is to choose a name based on the dog's circumstances or their typical behaviors, such as giving a dog that has overcome abuse a name like Seeley, Jared, or Finn, or a dog that always seems to be trying to talk with you a name like Daisy or Vincent. Some people may even choose to name their dog a name relevant to their future career, such as naming a dog that is slated for military work or for search and rescue after one of the FBI agents like James or Payton, while a dog that aspires to be a therapy dog may find names like Gordon or Angela more appropriate.
