Manny the French Bulldog is a celebrity in his own right. This little white dog with a black patch over his eye has become a social media sensation and has over 800,000 followers on Instagram. He's earned more than $150,000 for charities like the Special Olympics and the ASPCA. He's been known to hangout at Lollapalooza and the Cirque Du Soleil.

Pet parents Amber Chavez and Jon Huang rescued Manny just before he was taken to the shelter, deemed by his breeder as undesirable because he was the runt of the litter. The couple fell in love with the little guy, though, and bought him at a discounted price. Manny started out on Instagram as a way for his parent to share snapshots and videos of their adorable pup but his popularity grew and grew.. Today Manny has more than 2,000,000 followers on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Chavez and Huang contributed to charity anyway, but with Manny's success they can now make a real difference. Chavez has become Manny's full-time 'mom-ager' and handles his appearances and his apparel store that makes money for the French Bulldog Rescue Network and the ASPCA. His parents now have a charity of their own. It's called Manny and Friends and raises money for the ASPCA and the French Bulldog Rescue Network. Manny has also raised funds for people as well, like hurricane relief.

But Manny hasn't let his celebrity status go to his head. Chavez says discipline is rarely necessary, although Manny does hate the vacuum cleaner and objects to being left alone. He is a sweet boy who loves everybody and gets along with other dogs and babies. He likes grownups, too and just wants to meet all the people he runs into. Those people include a number of celebrities like Jason Aldean and Snoop Dog, among others.

Manny's celebrity comes naturally, Chavez says. He works for treats but is usually just being himself when those great candid shots for Instagram happen. Hi likes to take naps in the bathroom sink,loves his toys, and has the most adorable little Frenchie gargle you've ever heard.

Although Manny's hometown is Chicago he has friends all over the world. This philanthropic pup is one shining star and is doing his part to help other dogs not as fortunate as he is. Way to go, Manny, way to go.
