Dog Names Ending in 'vi' in Pop Culture
The family got out of the house (taking Levi of course) and called the fire department. The attic of the house was on fire and, luckily, was put out when the firefighters arrived. No one was injured in the fire, thanks to Levi. If the pup hadn't alerted his owners to the fire, the scene could have been much different. To thank Levi, the family said that a big steak dinner was definitely in his future.
Another dog named Levi who has been making headlines is the wolf-dog who has been wandering around Pennsylvania. The pup had been turning heads and escaping city officials for weeks before he was finally captured. Looking exactly like a wolf, the dog, named Levi, was claimed to belong to a couple who moved to the area from Florida. However, in Pennsylvania, it is illegal to have a dog that is more than 65% wolf and even then a permit is required to keep the dog. People desire wolf dogs as a novelty, however, the dogs can often still be quite wild and untamed. The couple had taken Levi to a park and let him off the leash. Then, Levi refused to return and disappeared.
When Levi was finally caught, he was taken to an animal sanctuary where wolves and wolf dogs live in safety. The sanctuary was completing a DNA test on Levi to see if he was truly part wolf. If he is, he will spend the rest of his days happily roaming around the twenty two acre farm! The wolves on the farm are fed about five pounds of meat a day and are given practically anything that makes them happy and comfortable. Levi will surely enjoy living in such a welcoming environment rather than running from animal control in a Pennsylvania park!
Dog Name Ending in 'vi' Considerations
While you may love a certain name for your dog, you should also think about nicknames as well. Some names than end in "vi" are short enough to not need a nickname (Avi and Kivi, for example, are already short enough). Longer names may not be practical to say over and over every day. If you are in love with the name Chavivi, a nickname like Vivi or Cha Cha could work. Lolovivi could simply become Lo. A great nickname is just as important as the true name!
