Dog Names Meaning Pure

Canines with names that have the word pure in their definition can be found in several different forms of media, including television shows, headlines, and even featured in video games. Phoebe the dog was a canine actor and stunt-dog that starred in the television show Wishbone along with three other dogs, Soccer, Slugger, and Shiner, specializing in water scenes. Phoebe also starred in a twenty-minute short movie, “Goodbye, Bear.” Katja, a military Belgian Malinois, made Airforce headlines when she was rescued from a fire by her handler during a fire broke that out in their quarters. A children’s book called “Kate, the Ghost Dog” by Wayne L. Wilson is designed to help children between ages of eight and thirteen to cope with and process the loss of a beloved pet, and Kate is also the name given to one of the dogs on the popular action game Fallout 4. The Kate in the game is an aggressive dog that is standing guard over the corpse of her former owner, Evan O’Dood. Another dog named Kate was the inspiration and subject of a picture book named “Kate & Pippin: An Unlikely Friendship.” The book outlines the relationship of a Great Dane named Kate and her relationship with Pippin, an orphaned fawn who had been found in the woods. Kate’s pet parent, Isobel Springett, bottle fed the little deer, but it was Kate who raised her and helped to keep her safe as she grew. Pippin eventually returned to the forest as an independent, wild deer, returning just to visit now and then, once with twins in tow, whom Isobel dubbed Heidi and Zeke.
