Introduction

All the way back in the early 2010's, Warner Bros. took notice of the success of Marvel's Cinematic Universe and felt that they could attain that same level of success with another brand of well known, and well loved, comic book characters. As the parent company of DC Entertainment,  Warner Bros. had access to all of the characters from DC Comics a person could think of; Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash - Warner Bros. could make a film starring any of these characters. So to helm the ambitious endeavor of creating a Cinematic Universe consisting of some of the world's most popular heroes, Warner Bros. enlisted the aid of director Zack Snyder and writer David S. Goyer to create a film based off of perhaps single most well known superhero to have ever existed; Superman. Man of Steel was the end result.

Man of Steel Dog Name Considerations

The DC Extended Universe may be in something of a state of disarray due the mixed reception of many of the Cinematic Universe's big projects (such as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Justice League) but Man of Steel is a film that takes many of us back to a different time when the concept of the DCEU was novel, new, and inspired many of us to be excited about what future could potentially bring. Superman is one of the quintessential symbols of hope, not just in comic books but in all of fiction. For many fans of the DCEU, Man of Steel represents the hope many held for future films starring DC Comics characters. So if you're a fan of the films that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have made, consider naming your dog after a character from Man of Steel to hearken back to the early days of the DCEU.

Furthermore, if you're simply a big fan of Superman, consider naming your dog after a character from MOS who represents your favorite character from the Superman comics; Superman alone goes by many names, each of which could serve as a suitable basis for dogs who have a penchant for helping others out. Kal, Clark, Joseph, Joe, and Ace are just a few.
