Introduction
The 100 is a popular post-apocalyptic, dystopian, science fiction drama series that follows the lives of a group of one hundred young people, the survivors in the post-apocalyptic world. The group of these young juvenile delinquents was sent to Earth from the Ark, a space station where all humans now live, to check if the planet is safe for human life after a nuclear apocalypse. On Earth, they discover humans that have survived, the Grounders, the Reapers, and the Mountain Men. In the hostile environment and harsh conditions, the 100 group tries to survive, led by Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake.
The 100 Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
We have a skateboarding dog, we have a painting dog, we have a mountain climbing dog – but does Homer Simpson get his doggo representation? No, not in the eating competition field, nor the nuclear power plant operation, but his favorite pastime – bowling! Luckily yes, dogs have decided to venture onto new challenges and prove themselves as proper athletes and typical dads. Enter Blake, the gorgeous Goldendoodle who can bowl! But how is this even possible without fingers? Are dogs finally taking over just like Snowball from Rick and Morty?
Blake is, luckily, not as sinister as Snowball, and he surely does not hold any resentment towards humans. An eight-month-old doggo is one of the bright stars on the sky of bowling and has practiced since he was only a little pup, and his quite odd hobby garnered the attention of people all over the Internet. His family owns a bowling center in Emmett in Idaho, so that gave little Blake a perfect court to practice!
Katelyn Simpson, a famous bowler, shared her passion for the sport with the lovely pup and inspired him to pick up bowling himself. He started pushing the balls down the lane with the help of a ramp that children use, and slowly he became better and better. After each hit, Blake gets a big hug and a high-five, and he can score a spare or a spike more and more! His family praises him and says that Blake is the most intelligent dog they have ever met and that he can easily pick up any new trick they show him! His bowling career did not only bring joy to his family, but also to the people who come to the bowling alley for a relaxing night with their friends. He grew very quickly on Instagram as well, and his page is gaining followers and likes every day. People from all over the world can see Blake’s talents and his adorable face casually hanging around a fireplace, cuddling with his humans on the couch, wearing Santa hats, and bragging about his bowling scores. The adorable pup has a brother as well, who is often a guest in his Instagram posts, just as cute as Blake, but not as talented. Oh, and to make things even more adorable, apart from bowling like a pro, Blake can sometimes be seen sniffing the lanes and the bowling balls, and climbing on his dad’s back!
The 100 Inspired Dog Name Considerations
Time to start namin’! When you watch The 100, if you can get over how handsome and attractive the characters are, you notice one thing. There are a LOT of characters in this show! Everyone has something interesting about them, whether it is a fact that they managed to survive the nuclear apocalypse on the barren Earth, or that they were born on a space station! Either way, you will surely find a perfect name for your brave new pup who could easily survive any apocalypse that may happen during their lifetime.
You can start with the names of The 100 group leaders, Bellamy Blake, also known as The King, leader of Spacekru, and Clarke Griffin, the major character also known as Prisoner 319, the co-leader of the 100 with Bellamy. If you want a name that represents a character but also a certain goddess, you can pick the name, Gaia, after a Flamekeeper and Indra’s daughter, who also happens to be the Mother Earth goddess in ancient Greek mythology. Another fantastic name is Paxton, after Paxton McCreary, a former prisoner on the Gagarin, and a leader of Eligius prisoners’ faction, or Caspian, one of the Sky People who joined Thelonious Jaha.
