The Vampire Diaries Dog Names

We have all dreamed this dream: packing our bags, saying goodbye to our friends and family for a while, purchasing a plane ticket and heading off to the adventure of our lives! Traveling to new and exciting places all over the world, discovering new cultures, tasting new, delicious food, and taking many amazing photos to always remember the trip. Well, one lucky dog is living that exact dream! The adorable little Pembroke Welsh Corgi called Marcel is one adventurous globetrotter! Marcel has probably visited more countries that most of us could ever dream of doing, all with an adorable smile on his face!

 Marcel Le Corgi is a bilingual wunderdog; he speaks both English and French thanks to his mom Aurélie Four. They live in London, but they are no strangers to distant lands and exploring remote locations together, making him the most well-traveled dog out there! He is also huge on Instagram and can safely say, or bark, that he is quite the influencer, with over 85 thousand followers who like, comment, and share his daily shenanigans and escapades all over the globe. The fluffy Corgi is also quite the non-standard doggo. Fluffy, long-haired Corgis are not your typical stumpy legged doggos, they actually come from a recessive gene in Corgis which prevents them from participating in dog shows, but that never broke little Marce’s spirits! Instead of dog shows he’s strolling down the streets of Paris and London, takes cute photos next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, wears a crown in the Balmoral Castle and explores the highlands of Arthur’s Seat.

His adorable smile is the focal point of all of his Instagram posts, which his loving owners update daily, and he can always be seen in a new place, with an exciting background, smiling and loving life like he always does. It also helps that he is a social butterfly, as he can be seen around other globetrotting doggos who have dared to explore the world with their owners just like Marcel did.

Marcel Le Corgi also shares his name with a character from The Vampire Diaries, Marcellus “Marcel” Gerard. He is a vampire turned by Niklaus Mikaelson back in 1835, and he established himself as the vampire ruler of New Orleans. He had a brief altercation with Klaus, as he is his former protégé, but they manage to patch things up, if only for a little while!
