This neighborhood is located about 30 miles from Choctaw Lake, Ohio. The main attraction here is the Godown Dog Park. This dog park is conveniently located with easy access. It is a huge, completely fenced in park that has 2 separate areas for smaller dogs and larger dogs. The terrain here will be very exciting for your pooch: there are hills to climb, a grassy area with a small creek, and an area which is partially covered with wood chips. There are also a lot of trees that help to provide shade for you and your pooch. Water and agility toys are also provided. And you can feel free to leave the leash at home -- Fido won’t need it at this off-leash park.
This dog friendly locale is a great place for you and your fur baby to bond. This city is located only 32 miles from Choctaw Lake, Ohio and is home to the Darree Fields Dog Park. There are not many dog parks in this area so you will find a lot of other pups that your pooch can socialize with here. This off-leash park has a lot of room for your canine companion to run around. There are also 2 separate areas depending on the size of our pooch. Grassy areas and trees abound, so you’ll both have plenty of places for shade. There are also benches and picnic tables for owners. There is a water source for your pup; you will just need to make sure to clean up after them. Grab a ball and get ready for a day of fun with your pooch.
This neighborhood is home to one of the best maintained dog parks in this area. The Walnut Woods Dog Park is located about 40 miles from Choctaw Lake, but it’s well worth the drive! This dog park is a non-stop playground for your pooch. There is a large area and it is set up for your pooch’s pleasure. There are 2 sections for the different sized dogs and large grassy areas for your pup to run around and explore off-leash. There are tunnels for your pup to play on and hoops to jump through, but the best part is the “doggy beach”. This area is covered with small pebbles, which is sure to excite Fido. There is water available but most owners bring some since it is not all that convenient. There are also shaded picnic tables and trees for your pooch to lie under. This is an A+ dog park and your pooch will not want to leave!

You will need to bring doggy bags to clean up and some water for both of you when you get thirsty. There is also an obstacle course for your pooch to run and you will see different wildlife on the trails. Spend the day here and your pooch won’t want to leave!
