Around 11 miles away from Edison is another park that you and Fido are sure to fall head over paws for! Woodbridge Dog Park is located in the Sewaren neighborhood Woodbridge. This enclosed, off-leash park has everything you need for a fun day at the dog park. The park includes two areas -- one for small dogs and other for large dogs -- so it’s perfectly safe. Water fountains can also be found in the dog park. For the human visitors, there are benches, gazebos and a parking lot. Poop bags, trash cans, agility equipment, and plenty of shade are just a few of the amenities you'll find here.
Rutgers Garden can be found approximately 5 miles away from Edison, and, while this place isn't dedicated solely to dogs, your pets are allowed in the gardens and on the trails as long as they are on-leash at all times. There are many paths and trails that you can hike here, which are easy and very well-maintained. Be sure to practice good petiquette and clean up after your pup to help keep the gardens tidy. This spot is very beautiful, with mesmerizing gardens, scenic views, and benches where pups and their parents can take it all in. Make sure you bring water for your pup.
Around 8 miles away from Edison is Bicentennial Park. This community park is a nice little spot that's home to 7 miles of hiking trails for you and Fido to explore. The doggos that visit this park have to be on-leash at all times. The trails offer scenic views and surround the lake located here, which is the pawfect place for your pup to dip his paws after all that walking. You can kayak with your pup, too, since non-motorized boats are allowed. Bring water and poop bags, and you’ll be good to go!
