With over 40,000 dogs in Henderson, Nevada you know they have a lot of love for dogs and plenty of fun things for you and Fido to do and see while you are there. The Amargosa Trail is the most popular hiking spot if you are into that. Not only does it have separate trails for each skill level, but it also has informational signage posted in various spots of the trail to give you some history of the area. There are a few parks with restrooms and other amenities along the way since it is a 10-mile walk, hike, or run, depending on how Fido is feeling. When you get to Chapata Street, there is a dog park with a splash pad so Fido can cool off and get a drink.

If shopping is more your thing check out The District on Green Valley Parkway and you will find a dog lover shopper’s paradise. They have over 50 stores and restaurants such as Chico’s, Ben & Jerry’s, Pottery Barn, and Victoria’s Secret; and most of them are dog-friendly.
