Although it is not formally known as a dog park, it’s a sought-after place for anyone wanting to let their dog get some outdoor time. Dogs are allowed to play off-leash, although the area is open and not fenced-in. All dogs are welcome to the park, big and small, and cleanup bag stations are located throughout the park. After exercising with other dogs, your pup can rest in the shade of the covered, dog-friendly patio of Wahoo’s Fish Tacos and savor some Mexican-Asian fusion that’ll leave you and your dog begging for more!

Mother's Beach
Mother’s Beach is the neighborhood that’s home to one of the most pupular beaches in Marina Del Rey, Marina Beach. Next to the beach, however, is a small dog-friendly park called Edginton Park. This park welcomes any dog on a leash, and is great for a short walk. On an upside for dog owners, the neighborhood is also home to The Killer Cafe, which has a dog-friendly patio right along the shore, and offers free water bowls for your thirsty pup. East Bank
The East Bank neighborhood in Marina Del Rey is full of natural land from the Burton Chace Park to the Ballona Wetlands. Burton Chace Park is an excellent destination for some outdoor activities, with over 10 acres of vibrant green grass. The park is dog-friendly to all on-leash pups and has clean-up bag stations. If you’re looking for something a bit more natural, the Ballona Wetlands Reservation is a project set on restoring the wetlands to their natural ways and offer trails throughout the reserve, for humans and dogs! There are no clean-up stations though, so be prepared before you head out!

Loyola Village
Loyola Village is a quiet neighborhood nestled between Playa Del Rey and Los Angeles, about 4 miles from Marina Del Rey. The community is home to the Loyola Marymount University, although dog-owners may know the neighborhood for its off-leash dog park, Oberrieder Dog Park. The dog park has two fenced off areas, one for smaller dogs, the other for bigger dogs, and is open from 7 am until dusk. Doggy water fountains are available, along with clean-up bag stations. Another upside is that you don’t even have to worry about your pup getting too dirty since the area is covered with wood chips!
