Dog Areas in Paderborn

Paderborn is a very small town that shares its name with a rather better known city in Germany!  Paderborn, IL serves as a cluster for a widespread farming community. With a population of only 43 at the last census, Paderborn residents spend a lot of time engaging with the greater St. Clair community, and this extends to the lives of local Paderborn pooches! Paderborn is served by the greater St. Clair County community for veterinary care; neighboring Waterloo and Columbia have over half a dozen veterinary clinics between them, including animal hospitals, so dogs can play as hard as they want!

If you’re hungry and it’s warm outside, head to Karban’s Knotty Pines. This pub specializes in cold beer, mixed drinks, and a menu full of delicious pub classics. They do have outdoor tables, but call ahead if it’s a weekend evening to be sure that there’s room for your pup to join you on the patio. It’s a treat for you and your dog!

Paderborn is a great place to visit for anyone who’s interested in rural America, and seeing the way modern farms still survive in America’s heartland. Bring your dog and enjoy all that Paderborn has to offer.
