A fun fact about the Sixteen Acres neighbourhood is that it doesn’t actually have sixteen acres: it has 4,506. Part of that expansive land includes Tamarack Bog, which is a wonderful wooded area and is nothing short of a magical adventure for you and your pup. If you like your walks together to be interactive with the surrounding nature, then this is definitely the place for your fur balls. You may want to bring bug spray with you as this area tends to be a bit buggy. But most importantly, for the sake of your four-legged friends, be on the lookout for ticks.

Nathan Bill Playground is by far one of the most scenic parks in Springfield. This is an excellent spot to walk your dog and have a day of fun. Since this park is meant for both two-legged and four-legged loved ones, remember to keep your four-legged pals on a leash. Besides this park being a great place for your dogs to get a little bit of exercise, it also features a water park. So on those really hot days when Fido can’t seem to cool off, there is always an alternative to emptying your water bottle on his hot furry head.

After a rough and tumble day of playing fetch out in the field of Marshall Roy Park, it might be time for your pooch to squeeze in some relaxation into that awfully busy play schedule. The Soapy Dog Spa is just what your pup may be looking for. Your dog will have a great time with the employees there while getting pampered, who like getting on the same level as your pouch. Your canine friend will certainly have a pawsome time.
