Spring Hill
Langan Park is located in one of the loveliest areas in Mobile, Spring Hill. Leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners in exploring the park that offers park benches, swings for children, pavilions, and trees to relax beneath. There are 720 acres of free public happiness waiting for you here. As if that weren't exciting enough, the Mobile Botanical Gardens are adjacent to Langan. And guess what? Dogs on leashes are permitted, as long as you leave the place as you found it. That's an additional 100 acres of carefully-curated natural beauty to admire with your best friend. Water bowls and poop bags are provided free of charge.

Old Shell Rd
Children and pets have always gone together like peas and carrots. This park was named after Geri Moulton, a woman who worked hard to open this park for everyone to enjoy. She donated her time, money, and inspired artists to donate the more than 50 life-size bronze sculptures you'll see all across the campus. The park is located at the USA Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile and features open green lawns and meandering sidewalks. Have a picnic, take a walk, or throw a Frisbee. As long as your dogs aren't terrified of the bronze statues, we're sure you'll find it a pawsitively inspiring place to play.

City Center
If you live in downtown Mobile and need a place to walk your dog after work without having to jump in the car and fight traffic, British Park is the place for you. The name is very misleading, but do not be fooled! This park is definitely on American soil. Located on Dearborn off Canal Street, you'll find a diverse assortment of native plants cradling wrought-iron park benches along a winding brick path. Many large oak trees provide shade for all of the park's visitors. Be sure to pack waste bags and clean up after your dog. It may be tempting to let them off-leash in this enclosed park, but please don't. We assure you - even the Queen's Welsh Corgis would have to wear leashes in British Park.

S Ann St
The Danielle Juzan Dog Park is a modest addition to Mobile's growing list of activities. Not far from downtown, the small park is relatively new and remains clean. It's a great place for pups to burn off energy and make new friends. When they're tuckered out, guide your dog through the Oakleigh Garden District on-leash. It's accessible from the dog park and is a beautiful place to take a walk or relax under one of the shady trees. If you ask us, that sounds like the perfect afternoon!

Mann
On a hot summer's night, nothing sounds better than hanging out family and friends. If you don't feel like cooking, get your pals and paws in the car and head over to the Rivershack Restaurant. Located about 15 minutes south of Mobile's city center, the Rivershack has the premier view of the Tennessee River. Seating on the pier is open for business of all fur-ieties. Start with a basket of fried pickles and move onto the grilled catfish. Then, walk out over the pier and let your pup sniff the river air and collect all the airborne information that we humans are just not privy to.
