Whether you're visiting Orange Beach or you're thinking about moving there, you'd be barking mad to miss Unleashed Orange Beach Dog Park, which is located in Caswell. It doesn't matter if you have a small or a large dog because there are separate areas here for both. Within both of the areas, there are training stations and water fountains so you'll have everything you need. When it comes to the human visitors, there are plenty of benches in the park and plenty of shade that will shelter you from the sun. The park is spacious and the doggie obstacles make it so much fun for the doggos!

Gulf Shores City Center

Another fenced park in the vicinity of Orange Beach is the Gulf Shores Dog Park located in Central Gulf Shores, around 9 miles away from Orange Beach. The park can be classified as a pretty simple park, but it does include all the necessities that will guarantee a good time for you and your four-legged buddy. The most important thing that it offers is drinking water for your beloved pet, and two areas where small and large doggos can play safely. Tennis balls are also provided in case you forgot to bring your pup's favorite toy. Chairs and shade are also available here.

Sherman Grove

The Bill Dickson Dog Park is another place where your dog will be free to romp around and play his heart out. Located near Sherman Grove, an 18-mile drive from Orange Beach, this park offers a safe, fenced place where pups can get their daily exercise. Visitors note that this park is pretty hard to find, so you might want to use your GPS. This park offers separate fenced spots for small and large doggos. The park is pretty quiet and has picnic areas that are well-shaded so you and your dog can visit even during the hottest part of the day.

East Gulf Shores

If you and your dog are into more adventurous choices than enclosed dog parks, do visit the Gulf State Park. The park is just 2 miles away from Orange Beach and offers a lot of natural beauty that will fill your mind with un-fur-gettable memories and your lungs with fresh air. There are plenty of trails to explore, and almost all of them are dog-friendly. You'll just have to keep your pooch leashed at all times, but your pup probably won't mind. There are even dog-friendly cabins for rent here as well as a dog-friendly campground. You'll also find a swimming spot here, but you'll need to watch out for alligators!

Downtown Orange Beach

After exploring the many state parks around Orange Beach, head back into town to chow down with your hound! Orange Beach has more than 20 dog-friendly restaurants. Want to go on a doggie dinner date? Check out some of these furrific options: Cosmos Restaurant and Bar, Flippers Seafood and Oyster Bar, The Gulf, Villaggio Grille, Cactus Cantina, or Sassy Bass Caribbean Grille. Prefer something quick and easy? Grab something to-go at Flipdaddy's, Rotolo's Pizzeria, Moe's Original BBQ, or Chronic Tacos. End the day with a sweet treat at Buzzcatz Coffee & Sweets.
