West Pensacola Beach is home to the aptly-named Pensacola Beach West Dog Park. This dog park is actually a dog-friendly beach, where your dog can have some fun under the sun! Your dog is supposed to stay on his leash, although locals say that the rule isn’t strongly enforced; make sure to use your own judgement to make the best decision. Your dog can run around and play with other dogs on the white sand of the beach, or he can go have some fun in the refreshing water. Doggy waste bags, wipes, and disposal bins are provided for your convenience. Make sure to bring some water and some sunscreen!

East Pensacola Beach

Located on the eastern end of Pensacola Beach is the Pensacola Beach East Dog Park, and if your dog wants to have some room to run around, this is the place to be! This dog park has signs to help you find it, and there’s plenty of designated space for you and your dog to enjoy the breeze coming in from the water. Whether your dog wants to run around and bury some bones or make a splash by jumping in the ocean, he’s sure to have a ball! This park provides waste disposal bags, wipes, and trash bins for you to clean up after your dog. Don’t forget to bring along water!

City Center

Located just five minutes from Pensacola Beach is Gulf Breeze, where you’ll find one of the area’s only designated off-leash dog parks, Shoreline Bark Park. This spacious dog park has plenty of room for your dog to run around and burn off some pent-up energy. Whether your dog is large or small, there’s a spot for him; Shoreline Bark Park has separate areas for differently-sized dogs, so your dog can play while staying safe! Your dog must be at least four months old in order to play in the park. Waste disposal bags and water are provided for your convenience, but make sure to bring some water for yourself.

Downtown Pensacola

Ten minutes inland from Pensacola Beach is the city’s namesake: Pensacola. And if you’re looking for somewhere to eat with your dog, downtown Pensacola has plenty of options for you to choose from. If you want sushi, make sure to go by Sumo Sushi. This restaurant has two dog-friendly tables on their patio; it’s recommended you call ahead to see if one is available so that you can avoid a wait. If you’re tired of seafood, head over to Dog House Deli. This restaurant serves up burgers and hot dogs, and they also have four outdoor tables that are dog-friendly. A leash is required at both places.

Lakeview

Located about ten miles north of Pensacola Beach is Pensacola’s Lakewood neighborhood, where you and your dog can have fun at yet another dog park! Bayview Dog Park and Beach is a one-acre dog park where your pet can have some fun off his leash, whether he wants to run around and make some pawesome new friends or go for a dip in the cool, refreshing water! Waste disposal bags and trash bins are provided for you, but you’ll want to bring water for both you and your pup. Make sure to use the on-site dog wash station, as your pup is likely to get very muddy!
