The Volanta neighborhood is an excellent destination for you and your furry family members. While in the area, you can spend time at the Fairhope Dog Park which offers plenty of space to run and roam. With two separate areas for both large and small pups, you won’t need to worry about your shy pooch becoming overwhelmed when trying to play. Fido can play fetch or frisbee and socialize with other pups in the huge open area. There is even a kiddie pool with water if your pup wants to cool off, and the park provides doggie waste stations, so be sure to clean up after your pooch. After a day at the park, head over to Rae’s Southern Kitchen which offers a variety of menu items, including chicken salad, wraps, soups, and more. Plan to relax at the outdoor tables with your pooch and socialize with your neighbors. 

Jasmine Park

Situated in the family and Fido-friendly Jasmine Park neighborhood, the quaint Jasmine Park is a wonderful place to walk your pup and spend time with the kids. You can walk laps around the park while Fido romps and rolls in the grass and sniffs all the trees. You will need to bring your own water bottle and doggie waste bags to help keep the park clean. After your morning exercise, head over to The Coffee Loft for a hot cup of coffee and relax at one of the outdoor tables with your furry friend.

Magnolia Beach

Located along Mobile Bay, the Magnolia Beach neighborhood features the North and South Beach Parks along Fairhope Avenue. You can walk your pooch along the sidewalk and down the pier where you can stop and relax on the benches, and refill your water bottles near the restroom. Fido may also enjoy walking around the duck pond, just make sure to keep him on a leash. If you are out early, stop by the Broken Egg Café where you can eat breakfast at the outdoor tables. Later in the day, head over to Pinzone’s Italian Village for lunch or dinner while your pup relaxes on the outdoor patio. 

Downtown Fairhope

Whispering Pines

Traveling just nine miles north of Fairhope, you will find the Daphne Dog Park in the beautiful Whispering Pines neighborhood of Daphne. The dog park features separate spaces for large and small pups, and doggie water fountains are available when Fido needs a cool drink. The pups can run around off-leash while puppy parents relax at the covered picnic tables. You will probably see your neighbors spending quality time at the park with their four-legged children and chatting with friends. When you need to relax, stop by Southern Napa where you can enjoy a glass of wine on the porch. The waitstaff will even bring your pooch a bowl of water and plenty of love and attention.
