Avondale Village/ Crestview Gardens
Located right on the water, the Knox Landing Campgrounds is a great place to spend some time with the family and Fido. You can stay in your RV or set up a tent for a rustic experience, and hike through the area while your pooch explores the plants and trees. There is a picnic pavilion and BBQ grills where you can cook some hot dogs or hamburgers, and the campground offers plenty of shade. While strolling through the area, but be sure to keep Fido on a leash. The friendly staff can answer questions about local attractions and where to find pet supplies close to the campground.

Cropwell
Lakeside Park in the Cropwell neighborhood offers a peaceful location to get some exercise with your pup. There is a 5-mile walking and biking trail where both you and Fido can stretch your legs and shade trees throughout the park where you can relax on a bench. You can even walk out on the pier and admire the views of the water and take advantage of convenient restrooms. Let the kids run around on the playground while your pup socializes with other dogs out for the day with their parents. The clean restrooms are convenient and you can dispose of your doggie waste bags in the trash receptacles.

Riverside
If you are traveling to Pell City to visit family and friends, Americas Best Value Inn in nearby Riverside welcomes both you and your pooch. Located just seven minutes east of town on the Coosa River, this is a fun destination. The Inn allows up to three pups of any size for an additional fee, but they cannot be left unattended while you are out of your room. The rooms are spacious and provide plenty of space for your pup’s bed or kennel, and there is a convenient grassy area where you can take Fido for a walk, just be sure to use doggie waste bags and clean up. Take your pup for a walk around the edge of the river and admire the views before heading in for the night.

Dry Valley
About 10 miles east of Pell City, families and their furry friends enjoy traveling to the Talledega Super Speedway. If you are coming from a long distance, stop by the TA Lincoln off Exit 168 and give your pooch a chance to stretch his legs. The Travel Center features a variety of pet supplies inside the store and a large grassy area dedicated to pups and their owners. There are doggie waste bags provided and trash receptacles, making it easy to clean up. If you are staying in the area, the Lincoln Inn allows Fido to stay for an additional fee. The Inn is close to the Speedway and several other points of interest.
West Talladega
Situated in the Willingham Estates neighborhood of Talladega, the Clear Creek Cove RV Resort is a little over ten miles south of Pell City. The RV Resort is located on Logan Martin Lake and provides fun for the entire family. You can walk around the Resort and admire the views of the water, and your pup can get their feet wet. The fishing pier is great if you want to relax on a bench while Fido sniffs around the area. The friendly staff are available to answer questions and you will enjoy strolling through the Resort with your pups and chatting with neighbors and their furry family members. You will need to keep your pup on a leash and clean up with doggie waste bags.
