They also offer milkshakes and salads to go along with your perfect pizza. The Haymaker Restaurant Co is a classic American bar and grill that features handcrafted beer and handmade bites. All these pawsome restaurants have dog friendly patios and are conveniently located in Goodyear, which is less then a mile out of Avondale.

Grab a bite to eat with Fido by your side at Claim Jumpers. This delicious restaurant and saloon offers lunch and dinner options with favorites like chicken pot pie. Pieology is the perfect pizza spot if the two of you are craving a crazy style pizza with your own personal twist on it. This pizzeria gives you a wide variety of toppings, cheese, and sauce so you can craft your perfect pizza. Firehouse Subs is a popular deli-style eatery that serves up delicious subs and salads. All of these dogtastic restaurants offer a pet friendly patio so Fido can dine along side you.

Tivoli

The Tres Rios Welands is a lovely 480-acres of wetlands that is used as a habitat for wildlife and for purifying water. Located on the border of Phoenix and only eight miles out of Avondale, the Tres Rios Wetlands is a great spot to explore with your pup. The wetlands offers great hiking trails which offer views of the wildlife that calls the wetlands home. Make sure to keep Fido on a leash while visiting, and bring water since there is none available at the wetlands. Also when the weather gets warmer, make sure to check your dogs paws since the rocks can get hot to walk along.

Youngs Acres

The Cesar Chavez Park in Phoenix is a fantastic park to visit since it includes great amenities like a racquetball and basketball court, baseball diamonds, skate park, and a fishing lake. If Fido is itching to get off leash, the park also has a fully fenced in dog park where Fido can run free in and meet some new friends. There are separate areas for large and small dogs, and a pavilion with seating under it is on site, as well as water fountains to help keep everybody hydrated. Make sure to bring clean-up bags when you visit the dog park.
