Lake Havasu City is a vibrant and friendly city that is located in Mohave County, Arizona, and attracts visitors of all ages. Don’t forget to visit London Bridge for the oppawtunity to enjoy some history; the city is famous for it! You can walk with your pooch over the famous bridge that was built in 1831 over the Thames River in England, and later be transported back to Lake Havasu City. Residents care about their pups even more than their historic replica, and Lake Havasu City offers six veterinary clinics and animal hospitals in case you need emergency or routine care for your pup. 

Every pup loves a trip to the park. But, what makes it even better is when there is a special place they can go to safely run and roam off leash! The Lions Dog Park at the London Bridge State Beach is a pawsome place where you can bring your pooch for a day of fun. There is plenty of grass for chasing a Frisbee or favorite toy, as well as a wading pool for making a splash and keeping your pup cool. In addition, there are water fountains and a hose available here. Plus, this park also has walking paths that you can explore with your dog on leash, as well as shaded benches for a rest. What a pawsome day out!

This park is located in the peaceful neighborhood Avalon Park, which also has a walking path and playground for the kids. The dog park is perfect for off-leash exercise, and offers plenty of grassy open space for your pup to roam and explore. There are also covered ramadas and shaded benches to escape the Arizona sun. Be sure to bring some water and treats for your pooch, as it can get hot during the day. There is no better place in town for making new furry friends than at Avalon Dog Park!

This is a pawsome place to park your RV with plenty of hook-ups available. Plus, there are beautiful views of Lake Havasu! You also have access to a heated swimming pool, laundry facilities and a bunch of other puptastic facilities you can use during your stay. What’s more, Havasu Falls RV Resort is dog friendly! Your pooch is welcome to stay with you and explore the grounds, as long as he remains on leash. There are rules on certain dog breeds, such as Pit Bulls and Rottweilers, so be sure to check this in advance.

To go on an adventure with your furry friend, you have got to visit Lake Havasu State Park! This is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and see beautiful views. You can walk one of the sniff-tastic trails here, including the Mohave Sunset Trail. This is around two miles long, and allows you and your pup to explore the desert and shoreline. All pooches are welcome at Lake Havasu State Park, as long as they remain on leash. However, they aren’t allowed on the beach area of the park.
