Parker
Head over to the Pop Harvey Park for a dogtastic day with your pup. This beautiful park has tons of amenities that you and Fido will love, including a splash pad, covered picnic area, sand volleyball court, a gazebo, and a playground. Benches are scattered throughout the park, and there is a great walking path around the park that you can use for a walk. The park has a small grass area that Fido can use for a game of fetch, and a second un-covered picnic area that you two can enjoy a meal at. Make sure to keep your dog on a leash while visiting.36

South Parker
The Manataba Park is a huge park that Fido will love to go visit. Enjoy the playground, baseball diamonds, covered picnic areas, and open grass field with your furry pal. There isn't a paved path in this park, but there is a dirt trail that surrounds it if you want to get a walk in with your dog. The Blue Water Marina Park sits along the Colorado River and offers a covered picnic area, a boat launch, and a great walking area along the lake. There is a great area where you and Fido can hike and explore, but make sure to keep your pup on a leash when visiting.

Northeast Parker
The Buckskin Mountain State Park sits along the Colorado River and offers camping, swimming, boating, and hiking. The trails are perfect for any skill level of hiker since they only go between half a mile to one-mile in distance. The River Island State Park offers camping, boating, and hiking for your pup's enjoyment. The Wedge Hill Trail sits inside of this state park and offers a half-mile hike that starts off going uphill and gives you a gorgeous view of the Colorado River. Make sure to keep your dog on a leash when you're visiting both of these amazing parks.12

Sunny Ridge Dr / Buena Vista Ave
The Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge sits on the Colorado River and offers wildlife viewing, hunting, fishing, and kayaking. Take a hike on one of the three trails that go throughout the refuge, like the Peninsula Trail which is a half-mile long and offers benches and restrooms along the trail. The first quarter of the trail is paved and the rest is packed dirt that you and Fido can travel along. Make sure when you visit that Fido stays on a leash at all time. The Cattail Cove State Park is north of Bill Williams, and offers over 2,000-acres of fun for Fido. This park has restrooms, a picnic area, and wildlife viewing, plus a doggie beach for Fido to run around on. If Fido doesn't like the water, then check out the trails that run through the park and get a good walk in together. These parks are located in Lake Havasu City, and only twenty miles out of Parker.
